New and Improved MiamiHeatWave.com

There are several new and exciting things going on here at MiamiHeatWave.com. First of all, the blog - which you are currently viewing. We have installed links at the very bottom of the blog page which will redirect you to MiamiHeatWave.com and to our forum center, HeatZONE.

Speaking of both sites, MiamiHeatWave.com has a new look and feel. It is still not completed yet, but has a slick look and the information on the home page will be updated continuously. Check it out (click link at bottom of blog). And our forum center, HeatZONE offers a world of interactivity. There are the forums and topics started by our members as well as a chat room available 24/7 (try it out during gametime!) as well as an arcade when you are tired of talking Heat (is that possible?)!

Heat begin putting their new pieces together

With Shaquille O'Neal's ultra-recognizable mug among nine new faces on Miami's current roster, Heat coach Stan Van Gundy expects to deal with some growing pains during training camp. Malone getting closer to retirement

According to the Los Angeles Times, it appears that Malone has told the Lakers that he will not be ready to start the regular season. He is in recovery from off season knee surgery and has told Lakers owner Jerry Buss that he is not ready to come back yet. Malone's agent says that even if he did want to play today he could not and that it should be played by ear as Malone's condition improves.
